Chris Herrmann - Managing Director

Chris Herrmann (B.Com, Mgmt, IT and Industrial Relations) is a founding director of Far Edge.

He has extensive experience in management, business consultancy, systems development and managing projects.

His role includes business strategy and development, and IT consultancy. Chris completed a Co-op scholarship program with UNSW in 1999.

Maggie Wojciechowska - General Manager

Maggie Wojciechowska (B.Science [Statistics and Information Systems], M.Comm [Information Systems Management], PRINCE 2 Certified Project Manager) has over 15 years experience in IT with a strong grounding in Business Analysis, Project Management, Service Delivery and Account/Relationship Management.

Prior to joining Far Edge, Maggie worked mainly in large FMCG companies, with responsibilites covering projects in all business units, including Manufacturing and Product Development, Public Relations, Legal, Marketing and Finance.

At Far Edge since 2006, she has applied her diverse experience to oversee Project and Service Delivery, Project Methodology, Compliance and Continous Process Improvement within the organisation and for its clients.

Matthew Herrmann - Director, Software

Matthew Herrmann (B.Software Engineering, Hons) is a founding director of Far Edge.

He has extensive experience in with systems development and deployment control, and has designed and implemented quality and version control systems for several clients including BATA, Corbett Life Sciences as well as our own internal Version Control Systems.

Matthew has successfully implemented deployment strategies for distributed target environments for several clients, including environment testing, approval process and implementation plans. These systems have been deployed to thousands of computers worldwide.

Andrew Best - Senior Systems Administrator

Andrew Best (Grad. Cert IT Mgmt, Microsoft MCP) is a systems administrator and business analyst with over 10 years experience providing IT services using Windows and Linux solutions. His extensive systems administration experience includes:

• Migrations of legacy windows networks (Novell, NT4 & Samba 2.X) to Windows Active Directory.
• Standardisation and management of heterogeneous computing environments through design and implementation of standards based configurations and tools, allowing timely and accurate changes.
• Implementation of monitoring systems and reporting to allow organisations to measure their growth and network reliability.
• Introduction of change controls
• Design of policy and structures to allow efficient and pro active fault resolutions

Andrew's role includes project leadership and assisting the Corporate Helpdesk team to deliver a level of service and support to clients that consistently exceeds their expectations.
